Set the incense stick on the holder. Light end and let it burn for 10 seconds before gently blowing the flame out. Let the incense stick smoulder, not burn, to produce an aromatic scent. Not recommended for use in enclosed and/or unventilated areas.
Small pieces of Bursera Graveolens (Palo Santo) tree specie are being used in the wellness world. Growing all over the Americas including, Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Galápagos Islands and plentifully in mainland Ecuador. Due to the demand, opportunists are prematurely cutting down these sacred trees, in order to quickly process the wood into sticks for selling. Not only is this devastating for the forests, it renders the sticks purposeless, as the sacred resin hasn't had time to form.
